Reading: We will have our Unit 3 Benchmark test along with a close read. Our close read will be a song that is filled with figurative language. We will discuss similes and metaphors next week!
Spelling: There will not be a spelling unit this week because of our benchmark testing.
Math: Due to PARCC assessments coming up in about a month, we are going to begin fractions next week. We will still cover some division lessons throughout our study of fractions. REMINDER: The PARCC practice tests are available online for students to practice. We have done some practicing in school; however, more practice at home would be beneficial. Just recently PARCC added more technology tools and another practice test for students to review. Click the link below to view the tests!

- Reading Logs: Students were given their February reading log today. If they needed a few more days to complete January, that is fine! Please have your child bring their January log on Monday.
- Math: Students may have math homework, depending on their teacher.
