Student Council Elections will be next week!
We will have one girl and one boy representative from our class. Students who are interested must write a short explanation for WHY they will be a good representative for our class. Miss Plecki will read the explanations without stating the students’ names to avoid students voting for students based on friendship alone. These explanations are due by Wednesday, September 3.

- Reading Log: September Reading Logs will be sent home with your child on Tuesday. Students are required to read for 10-15 minutes for at least 20 days in September. The log is due on October 1.
- Address and Phone Number Practice: Many students in Room 203 do not know their entire address and phone number. It is important in cases of emergency that students know this information. Students will have the entire month of September to learn their address and phone number. A short quiz will be given at the beginning of October to check whether or not they know this important information.
- Spelling: Study for weekly test. Lists will be sent home on Tuesday.
- Math: Students may have math homework, depending on their teacher.
